Summary of Privacy Policy
- Your data is stored in our pantry app database on a secure Google server in Frankfurt, Germany
- Your data will NOT be shared with all users. However, you can share your data with family members or others in a community.
- You must be logged in to view your data. Choose a secure password if you don't want others to see your stash ;)
- We don’t sell your data!
- If you do not include your address in the storage location description and do not upload a picture of your house, there is no way for us to find your stock.
- We have a large stock ourselves and no interest in yours ;-)
Details on the privacy policy
With the Smantry App, we've fully embraced synchronization, so the data is stored on a server. We use a secure Google server located in Frankfurt, Germany.
If someone gains unauthorized access to our database on the server, they won't be able to use all the information unless the name of the storage location or community can be traced back to an address or family name. While the IP address could be used to identify the provider, this is always located in a larger city, where there are thousands of households—making it impossible to find a specific stash.
